I'm not sure why I get into these funks where I go months without blogging. I suppose that I feel like there isn't much to say. I, one time, had a professor who encouraged the use of a small notepad. He kept this notepad in his shirt pocket. Whenever he thought of something clever or that he might eventually write about, he would take out the notepad and write his idea on it. I tried that for about a week and then lost the notecards I was using in place of the pad.
So, here's the catch up on my fun in San Diego...
One thing I've noticed here, is that many people are like reverse raccoons. Since it's sunny here all the time, everyone is wearing sunglasses. So, what you'll notice as you're talking to everyone is that they have the outline of their sunglasses around their eyes while the rest of their face is a shade or two darker. I mentioned this to someone who didn't seem to notice it at all. Funny how these things come to the forefront when you're born in an area that has the equivalent of one month a year where it's sunny. I'm probably exaggerating that last line, but man did it rain/snow a lot.
So, since we're talking about Celebrity Apprentice, Lisa and Aubrey have to be 2 of the most self-centered people I've ever seen on the show. It's like they've formed a cult vs. the other contestants or something. When the show started, I loved Aubrey. Thought she was terrific, had spunk, was clever, the whole nine yards....
Now, I just think she's a huge attention seeking camera whore. To paraphrase a line from Nene in last year's Celeb. Apprentice ----> She's willing to cut your damn head off to win...
I'm pretty sure that Dayana is toast tonight. This is the one aspect that I don't like about the Celebrity Apprentice. When the celebs want to get rid of someone, they all team together and gang up on that person. What I think is remarkable is that Dayana has lasted to the final 7 with everyone gunning for her.
